Tripp Jenner Talbot

Tripp Jenner Talbot was born on June 15th, 2009 at 12:03 pm! We are sooo excited to finally have our little man here! He has been such a sweet, mellow baby and just has such a sweet spirit about him. His brother's and sister's are constantly hovering around him.

i woke up that Monday morning at 3:00 am and went to the bathroom only to find out that I was bleeding heavily. So, we went to the hospital and they said I was dilated to a 2. They watched me for an hour and I had dilated to almost a 4! i had been having regular contractions too. The doctor broke my water and then the HARD contractions started coming! I got my epidural around 9:00 am. After a while it looked as if the epidural had stalled my labor and it had completely worn off in my crotch! They hooked up some pitocin at 11:00 am and I was still only at a 4. Within 30 minutes I was hurting SO bad in the vaginal area and was begging that the anaesthesiologist fix my epidural. I had dilated from a 4 to 10 in only 30 minutes and they were telling me not to push that the head was right there and they hadn't even called my doctor yet! So for almost 30 minutes I had to fight the serious urge to push and just breathe through the horrible pain! Finally when my doctor arrived I had Tripp out in 2 contractions! What a freaking relief that was! I have had my little guy in my arms ever since:)

BOSTON!

Well, this year the American Assoc. of Orthodontist's annual meeting was in Boston. We had such a fun and relaxing time! There is SO much history there and it is so beautiful too. I walked most of the Boston Freedom Trail (it's 2.5 miles). It's a path throughout the city that takes you to a ton of historical sites. My favorite site that is not on the path was tho Old North Bridge where the Revolutionary War started in Concord.

This had to be our favorite photo:) We just couldn't resist! It's some church we just happened to walk up to in Salem.

This is the oldest cemetary in Boston. Paul Revere, Benjamin Frankiln, John Hancock and "Mother Goose" are all burried here. It was so neat read the headstones and how far back they date.

So, we went to what is probably the lamest "witch museum" in Salem! I have to say that this town is really capitalizing on the whole Salem Witch Trials thing! There are a ton of witch boutiques and shops. But it was a lot of fun! We also went to Harvard and we also saw the Boston POP Orchestra. It was a much needed trip for me before this new little baby comes in 5 weeks! I can't wait!

HAPPY EASTER!

Here are a few pictures of the kids all dressed up and on a sugar high from Easter.

The girls couldn't wait to get into their dresses! They danced and twirled around all morning saying that they were princesses! And of couse they had coordinating jewelry to match:) Kally's favorite was her "pink sparkle shoes". She wears them every chance she gets now!

SMILE!

Well, Travis FINALLY finished the 2nd part of his Orthodontic boards this week! He has been stressed out and beyond busy trying to get his cases ready for this. I swear I have felt like a single mom for the past few months while he prepared for this, but it's all worth it. He said they were pretty brutal and didn't go easy on anything. But I have full faith that he passed with flying colors:) I ma so proud of him ad ALL his hard work he puts in to take care of our growing family. We won't find out how he did for 4 - 6 weeks. So, keeps your fingers crossed for him.
Otherwise, the rest of us are all doing well. I am now 24 weeks along with our new little guy due this June. This has been by far my hardest pregnancy. I am So done after this one. But I really love being a mom to all of our kids. Everyday is a new adventure I tell ya good and bad. I still can't get over how big they are and how fast they are growing! Now I'm on to my next challenge....POTTY TRAINING! I can't get Kally interested for the life of me! I am almost to the point of just paying someone to do it for me:) She's got 4 months to learn how to do it by the time this baby comes!

Christmas Lights!

We went to see the lights at Temple Square last night with Amy and the girls, Brad and Jana, and Jana's family. It was so fun to see the kids so excited! The lights were beautiful and it was very crowded and COLD! But it was well worth it:)
